Game Therapy UK was formed to promote and provide ‘best-practice’, innovative projects across the NHS, social services and health charities.
Our Main Effort Year One is to set up therapeutic game projects for people experiencing homelessness,
people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction,
and military veterans affected by psychological trauma/ PTSD
In Year Two, we will be looking at more projects including projects with people affected by affective disorders (depression/ General Anxiety Disorder), and people living with neurodivergence (ADHD/ autism).
Future projects will also include people in recover from brain injury, early dementia, and people living in prison populations.
